Training...Again!

September 7, 2015

Hey Guys,

Hope you all had a great week. Our week has been really eventful, and super slow. Last week, as I was walking out of the Internet cafe, I received a call from the zone leaders, informing me that I would be training a new missionary this change. Two changes, two newbies. I was pretty excited.

My new companion is fresh from Guayaquil, Ecuador. His name is Elder Martinez, and he is definitely not a "two-blink" companion. We are working hard and finding the lost sheep. We even managed to find some inactive members that no one knew about. We also had an investigator in church, which is always a major win here in Honduras, and I'm sure, in the world. We taught over 150 lessons this last change, and only 3 people came to church. We were so excited. He has a baptismal date for October 10, but he is great, and he might be able to be prepared for September 26.

We are closing in on that 14-Month mark, and I am really surprised. I feel like the mission just flies by, and that I never am going to have time to get everything done that I have to get done. It's just work, work, work, and I love it.

This week I am feeling much better. Thank you all for the prayers.

Elder Aldrich

P.S.- I have pictures, but the computer I'm using is weird and won't let me upload any. Next week.
